Respiratory Care Practitioner - Oconomowoc Memorial - 0.9 FTE, Nights

Schedule Details:

• Eligible for a $10,000 Sign-on Bonus!
• $4/hour Night Shift differential
• Standard shift: 1800-0600, every third weekend.
• Primary location at Oconomowoc, with cross-training required at Waukesha Memorial. Oconomowoc has a Level 2 NICU; training in NICU and NRP is required. Respiratory Therapists at Oconomowoc also assist in Phlebotomy. No experience needed; training will be provided for the right candidate.

What You Will Do:

The Respiratory Care Practitioner provides respiratory care services to patients, identifies abnormal/normal pulmonary data, ABGs, chest x-rays, and lab values. Demonstrates competency in bedside bronchoscopy procedures and the INOvent.

Requirements:

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy
• Wisconsin State License - RCP
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred
• BLS (CPR) or ability to obtain at hire; NRP or ability to obtain within one year
• PALS preferred
• ICU experience strongly preferred
• Ability to maintain continuing education per NBRC guidelines
