Job summary

Aspirus Divine Savior Hospital in Portage, WI is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our Respiratory Therapy team. This role provides respiratory and cardiopulmonary monitoring, diagnostics, and therapy under medical direction for adult and geriatric patients.

The position requires an associate degree in Respiratory Care, WI license, NBRC RRT (or registry eligible within one year), and current or soon-to-be BLS. .9 FTE with 12-hour night shifts and every third weekend.

Qualifications

• AMA approved school of Respiratory Care with an associate degree.
• Wisconsin Respiratory Care Practitioner license required.
• Registered RRT by NBRC, or registry eligible and obtained within one year of hire.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory and cardiopulmonary monitoring, diagnostics and therapy.
• Assist in orientation training of hospital staff, students and the public regarding respiratory care.
• Interact with adult and geriatric patients; interpret information and determine treatment needs.
