7 p.m. - 7:30 a.m. / Full Time / 36 Hours

We're seeking a dedicated Respiratory Care Practitioner with both NICU and Adult Critical Care backgrounds to continue the growth of our Respiratory Care team at Emory Johns Creek Hospital. As part of our team, you will be responsible for providing respiratory care to patients in acute, chronic, and emergency situations. You will perform routine ventilator and artificial airway treatments in critical and general care areas. You will assist physicians and perform routine respiratory care activities as necessary.

In addition to hands-on patient care, Respiratory Therapists are required to accurately and completely document respiratory care following established charting procedures. You will select, assemble, and check respiratory care equipment for proper operation and cleanliness. You will work with management to formulate plans for professional development.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate's degree in Respiratory Care.
  • New graduates to 2 years of experience.
  • Ability to work independently under the general direction of your leader.
  • Currently licensed as an active Respiratory Care Practitioner in Georgia.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
  • Preferred membership in the American Association of Respiratory Care (AARC). Other requirements (if applicable):
  • BLS required; ACLS required for adult critical care within 6 months of hire; NRP required for Special Care Nursery/NICU.
