Job summary

Qualifications

• Current State Respiratory Care Practitioner license required.
• NBRC RRT certification (or within 3 months of hire).
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS within hire or within specified grace period.
• Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree preferred.
• Two years of acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by the provider.
• Focus on assessment, planning, implementation, and documentation of care; consider age and population needs.
• May serve as Lead RCP during a shift, responsible for the section or department.
