PAM Health is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to join our inpatient team in Texas. The ideal candidate has prior hospital experience or a commitment to learn, and must be licensed to practice respiratory care in the state with current BLS/ACLS certifications.

The RCP will perform routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures, maintain equipment, and may provide phlebotomy and basic lab testing as required, delivering compassionate care to a diverse patient

Qualifikationen

• Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care.
• Must possess and maintain current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada.
• For hospitals that perform arterial punctures and/or run blood gases, at least a high school diploma is required, preferably an associate degree.
• Minimum of one-year clinical respiratory experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• The Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) performs routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients in PAM Health hospitals and maintains all equipment in working order.
• Provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing for the patient population as required or requested.

Ausbildung

Licensed Respiratory Therapist or applicable state license

BLS certification

ACLS certification

Blood gas licensure (if Nevada)

High school diploma or higher (preferred associate degree)
