Job summary

AHN Heritage Valley Beaver in Beaver, PA is seeking Full-Time Respiratory Care Practitioners to join the Respiratory Therapy department. Work involves 72-hour daylight shifts across three 12-hour shifts, with occasional nights and rotating weekends and holidays.

The role administers diagnostic tests and therapies as prescribed, and teaches patients and families for home use. You will also test and maintain respiratory equipment. The position offers a weekend rotation and eligible bonuses.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Respiratory Care Practitioner from the state of Pennsylvania.
• BCLS required; ACLS preferred.
• Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.

Responsibilities

• Administers respiratory therapy diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures as prescribed by the physician.
• Teaches procedures to patients and families for at-home use.
• Tests and maintains respiratory-related equipment.
• If hired as Casual Flat Rate practitioner, will be required to work one weekend a month.
