Job summary

Jefferson Healthcare in Port Townsend, WA is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner for the day shift to join our compassionate team. This is a 0.9 FTE (36 hours/week) position with three 12-hour shifts.

You will deliver cardiopulmonary care, including newborn care, per physician orders and department protocols, collaborating with a dedicated care team. A WA license and AMA-approved education are required.

Qualifications

• Current Washington State Respiratory Therapist License required.
• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required.
• Must stay current in knowledge base, certifications, and licenses indicated above, and meet Hospital-mandated education requirements.
• One or more years of previous clinical experience preferred.
• Labor and Delivery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality cardiopulmonary care, including newborns, by following physician orders and department protocols.
• Maintain and update patient care plans in collaboration with the care team.

In this vital role, you'll provide high-quality cardiopulmonary care, including care for newborns, by following physician orders and established department protocols. Schedule:

0.9 FTE (36 hours/week), day shift (0600-1830). Three 12-hour shifts per week.
