Job summary

Door County Medical Center in Sturgeon Bay, WI is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner for Cardiopulmonary Services on a Casual Call basis. This part-time, on-site role includes working as needed with a 10% Casual Call differential on hours worked and shift differentials of 10% PM and 17% night.

Qualified candidates will hold an Associate or higher in Respiratory Therapy, be eligible for RRT per NBRC or obtain it within a year, and hold a state license in Respiratory Care; BLS, ACLS, NRP

• RRT eligibility per NBRC or achieve RRT within one year.
• State License in Respiratory Care.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, manage, and care for patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies under physician direction.
• Provide respiratory care and diagnostic evaluation across patient age groups.
• Work a casual call schedule with eligibility for shift differentials and 10% casual call pay.

Description

The Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) is a health care specialist under the medical direction of a physician in the assessment, treatment, management, control, diagnostic evaluation, and care of patients of various age groups with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system.

Education: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the NBRC or achieve RRT within one year of hire. State License in Respiratory Care.

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP.

Shift: Working Casual Call, meaning you work as needed. Multiple shift options available. As a Casual Call employee, you get an additional 10% differential on hours worked.

Shift differentials offered as a percentage of base rate: 10% for PM shift and 17% for night shift
