Job summary

ProMedica Bay Park Community Hospital seeks a Respiratory Care Practitioner to deliver care in multiple hospital settings, including clinical and emergency areas. You will help create care plans, evaluate progress and maintain communication with the health care team.

The role includes clinical instruction for respiratory care staff, nursing students and residents, plus orienting new personnel and supporting team development. A strong commitment to patient care and ongoing education is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; must hold CRT or RRT NBRC credential.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Licensed to render respiratory care in Ohio and/or Michigan; active practice allowed.
• ACLS/NRP/PALS is recommended and may be required in some units.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care across general, clinical, emergency and diagnostic areas.
• Develop and monitor patient care plans and goals; communicate with care team.
• Instruct respiratory care, nursing, students and residents; orient new staff; contribute to team growth.
