Job summary

Providence St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, MT is seeking a Respiratory Care Polysomnographic Technologist to deliver quality sleep diagnostics and age-appropriate care. You will calibrate sleep equipment, perform QC, and prepare accurate reports for physicians.

The role requires Montana licensure and BLS certification at hire, with preferred polysomnogram training and 2 years of experience in sleep study technology. This on-site position offers comprehensive Providence benefits.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a Respiratory Care Program with RRT or CRT credential.
  • Montana Respiratory Care Practitioner License required on hire.
  • BLS certification by American Heart Association required on hire.

Job description

The Respiratory Care Polysomnographic Technologist provides quality diagnostic sleep services to patients of all ages, adjusting approach to meet the age specific needs of assigned patients. Responsible for calibration and quality control of diagnostic sleep equipment. Assures that reports are accurate and ready for the interpreting physician in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications:
  • Coursework/Training and Graduate of a Respiratory Care Program RRT or CRT
  • Upon hire: Montana Respiratory Care Practitioner License
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Preferred qualifications:
  • Coursework/Training and Polysomnogram Training Course
  • 2 years of recent experience in the field of Sleep Study technology.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
