Job summary

Jackson North Medical Center in North Miami Beach, FL, seeks a Respiratory Support Technician to help maintain respiratory care equipment and stock supplies. The role supports obstetric and pediatric areas and ensures patient care spaces stay well supplied and ready for routine or emergent use.

You'll be responsible for organizing stock rooms, cleaning equipment, and assisting with ventilator and bronchoscope upkeep, while adhering to unit policies and CARE values.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of related experience preferred.
• Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work under deadlines.
• Good oral and written communication.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain safety.

Responsibilities

• Organize stock and maintain clean workroom and stockroom.
• Stock, check supplies, and manage inventory across respiratory stock areas.
• Maintain and order respiratory care stock, oxygen, medical air gas, and gas cylinders.
• Assemble/disassemble respiratory therapy equipment for cleaning or sterilization.
• Prepare transports, set up and check equipment for routine and emergency use.
• Review and update patient charges; ensure bronchoscopes are cleaned and stored.
• Follow unit policies and perform other duties as assigned.
