Qualifications

• 5 years respiratory care with critical care experience.
• 2 years supervisory or assistant supervisory experience.
• Graduate of AMA approved Respiratory Care Program; NJ-RESP license; BLS & NALS certification; ACLS/PALS optional.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and participate in specialized respiratory care clinical programs.
• Educate the respiratory care staff, students and multidisciplinary staff.
• Participate in intra- and interdisciplinary activities and programs.
• Demonstrates effective communication skills, teaching ability and techniques required for effective job performance.
• Role may require exposure to hazardous materials.
• Physical tasks requirements are listed in the respiratory therapist job analysis.
