Campus Overview:
Kettering Health Springfield
This one-story, 42,000-square-foot medical center, located at 2300 N. Limestone St., is scheduled to open in spring 2022.
Available services include:
- 24/7 emergency center with lab and imaging services
- Primary care and specialty medical offices
The facility will employ approximately 50 full-time staff and is projected to cost $20 million to build.
This new location enhances Kettering Health’s existing Springfield services, including a primary care office on Middle Urbana Rd. and a health center on Emmanuel Way offering imaging, physical and occupational therapy, primary care, and specialty services.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform high-level clinical respiratory care under indirect supervision, as assigned by the supervisor or team leader.
- Model a strong approach to all network initiatives, embodying KHN's mission, vision, and values.
- Perform various respiratory procedures daily under indirect supervision for all age groups, following departmental policies.
- Exercise sound clinical judgment and discretion in applying policies and procedures.
- Maintain productivity at or above required levels.
- Ensure accurate documentation of all records.
- Occasionally serve as Lead Therapist, shift Team Leader, or Clinical Instructor, as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Education: Graduates of a 2–4-year AMA-accredited Respiratory Program.
Required Licenses (Ohio, USA):
- Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner for Ohio
Credentials issued by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
Additional Qualifications:
Active AARC membership, with demonstrated knowledge in acute/critical care related to cardiopulmonary diseases, involvement in precepting in critical care areas, supervisory capabilities, current BLS, ACLS, P, and NRP certifications relevant to the work area.
