Job Summary and Qualifications

The Respiratory Therapist provides high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care, performs diagnostic tests, and supports mechanical ventilation. Supports organizational standards and promotes the mission and values.

Responsibilities include:

• Patient assessment, diagnostic procedures, respiratory therapies, airway management, mechanical ventilation, documentation, patient transportation, emergency response, neonatal resuscitation, patient and family education, equipment setup and maintenance, and compliance with hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 60 months.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days.
• Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRTT) or RRT/Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT/RCP).
