As a Resource Technician, you'll play a critical role in supporting wind energy operations across multiple sites and projects. Whether assisting with service work or construction efforts, you'll bring your skills and adaptability to where they're needed most. Backed by Vestas training and qualifications, you'll help ensure that teams are equipped and projects stay on track—delivering clean, reliable energy to communities everywhere. Your flexibility and commitment are key to powering progress, no matter your background in wind, electrical, mechanical, or field operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain wind turbines with your team.
  • Travel to different sites, work with diverse teams, and engage with varied experiences, including travel management and cost coding.
  • Conduct safety inspections and ensure a secure working environment.
  • Address advanced problem-solving tasks with effective self-management.
  • Work on construction and installation projects, overseeing the full life cycle of turbines.
  • Exposure to a wide range of turbine platforms, site conditions, and team environments—ideal for technicians who thrive on variety and continuous learning.
Who You Are
  • At least 6 months with a Wind Technician certificate, or 1 year of wind turbine experience, or 2 years in mechanical or electrical fields.
  • Highly developed problem-solving abilities and an engaged approach to responsibilities.
  • Safety-conscious and committed to best practices.
  • Able to work well with others and enjoy collaborative environments.
  • Physically fit, comfortable working in various conditions, and at heights.
  • Ability to speak, read and follow instructions in English.
  • You have a high school diploma (or equivalent), a valid driver\'s license, and are legally authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future sponsorship.

Salary & Career Growth

The base pay range for this position is $27.43-$33.43/hr, with potential for additional variable compensation. Pay will be determined based on experience and qualifications. We are offering a $2,500 USD sign-on bonus. If you\'re equipped with BST, BTT, and ART certifications from the Global Wind Organization (GWO), consider yourself already one step ahead.

Physical Demands
  • Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
  • Hearing ability for communication devices.
  • Visual acuity including depth perception and color distinction.
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
  • Ability to climb stairs and vertical ladders to heights of 60 to 100 meters; may supervise work in confined spaces.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry items up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to observe training and obtain certification in safety programs (LOTO, Electrical Qualification, Fall Arrest & High Angle Rescue & Emergency Descent, Confined Space).
  • Ability to participate in all training courses, including practical exercises.
  • Combined PPE and gear weight limits: up to 300 lbs total.

Note: This job requires travel in the Northeastern US region; and while it includes travel, work is remote and may involve overtime and other earnings.
