United Way Miami, Inc. is hiring a Resource Teacher II to join our early childhood team in Miami, FL.

The role involves providing programmatic support to five to nine classroom practitioners, children, and families enrolled in the center, and assisting the Center Director with implementing Head Start/Early Head Start standards. You will collaborate with teachers, participate in planning, and help manage daily operations to ensure a safe, engaging classroom environment aligned with licensing

Qualifications

• Must have Associate degree in ECE or related field.
• Completion of DCF 45-hour Child Care Training within 90 days of employment.
• Two or more years of experience in an early childhood setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Center Director in daily operations and staff coordination.
• Assist teachers and families to ensure compliance with Head Start/Early Head Start standards.
• Maintain center safety, health, and licensing requirements.
• Collaborate with multiple classrooms to support lesson planning and planning activities.
