The Goddard School in Rocklin, CA is seeking a dedicated Resource Teacher to support Lead and Assistant Teachers, enrich curriculum, and adapt to students' evolving needs in a nurturing preschool environment. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Curriculum and Instruction: Support lesson plans and activities in collaboration with Lead and Assistant Teachers; offer personalized attention; provide flexible classroom support.
• Classroom Management: Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment; support daily routines and transitions; address behavioral issues with positive guidance.
• Family Communication: Maintain positive communication with parents/guardians about daily activities and achievements; encourage family involvement.
• Health and Safety: Ensure cleanliness and orderliness; adhere to health guidelines; supervise children during activities.
• Professional Development: Participate in ongoing development and stay current with best practices; collaborate with staff to share ideas.

Resource Teacher Key Responsibilities

• Curriculum and Instruction:
  • Support lesson plans and activities in collaboration with Lead and Assistant Teachers
  • Offer personalized attention and foster an inclusive classroom environment
  • Provide flexible classroom support for a seamless educational experience
• Classroom Management:
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Support daily routines and transitions to promote a nurturing learning environment
  • Support Lead Teachers in addressing behavioral issues with positive guidance and support
• Family Communication:
  • Maintain positive communication with parents/guardians regarding their child's daily activities and acheivements
  • Encourage family involvement and participation in school activities
• Health and Safety:
  • Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the classroom and common areas
  • Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and procedures
  • Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities to ensure their safety and well-being
• Professional Development:
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities
  • Stay current with best practices in early childhood education
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to share ideas and strategies

Schedule

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

License/Certification
