Montgomery County Public Schools seeks a FY27: Teacher, Resource Special Education (SESES RTSE) at Eastern High School for a 1.0 FTE position. The role provides leadership to the Special Education Department, supports classroom teachers, and collaborates on PLC initiatives to improve student outcomes.

The candidate will work under school administration, apply knowledge of IEPs and ESSA requirements, and participate in activities outside instructional hours as needed.

Formación

• Knowledge of MCPS curriculum, learning theory, and differentiated instruction.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents/guardians, and administrators.

Responsabilidades

• Support special education teachers in instructional planning and delivery.
• Serve as liaison to the DSES and participate in school leadership teams.
• Observe and analyze instructional practices to support professional growth.
