Job summary

Eagle Point Middle School, part of Eagle Point School District 9, is seeking a Collaborative Special Education Instructional Assistant to support students in the Resource Program. You will help implement IEPs, provide targeted academic interventions, and assist with small group instruction in a structured setting.

Under licensed staff supervision, you may work one-on-one with students, collect progress data, and support accommodations while promoting positive student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and meet one of the following: two years of postsecondary education, an associate's degree or higher, or a passing score on the district's reading, writing, and math assessment.
• CPR/First Aid certification and CPI training are required (training provided if needed).
• A valid Oregon driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
• Experience working with students who have disabilities and behavioral challenges is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement IEPs under licensed staff supervision.
• Provide academic and behavioral support to students.
• Lead small group instruction and assist with accommodations.
• Collect progress data and monitor student progress.
• Assist with student supervision in various settings.
