Resource & Referral - Early Learning Resource and Training Specialist
Position is 100% On-Site - Los Angeles CA 90056
What We're Looking For:
We are seeking a Early Learning Support Specialist who assist with the implementation, operational oversight, planning, and reporting functions of the agency's Early Childhood Education (ECE) Resource Center including administrative and clerical support; will assist in researching resources and materials for provider support and assist in developing and implementing ECE Resource Center learning activities and professional development trainings, special events, outreach, and marketing. Role also includes the facilitation of Provider Wellness Cafes and working in partnership with agency leadership to implement First Friday Programming. All duties and responsibilities are performed in accordance with specific contractual obligations, contract compliance and department standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Early Childhood Education, Child/Human Development, or related field, or equivalent, preferred. Associate's degree acceptable with relevant, verifiable work experience required.
Previous experience in early childhood education, child care or social services preferred, in direct services such as a center-based or family child care. Experience planning, implementing, and coordinating projects that require collaboration with diverse groups preferred. In addition to coordinating resources that are age and developmentally appropriate and promote early learning and child development activities and trainings.
