Job summary

Agropur in Le Sueur, MN is seeking a Resource Operator II to execute operator tasks across plant areas and provide coverage during breaks and vacations. The role emphasizes safe, efficient operations with drug-free sanitation, sampling, and equipment monitoring.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Carry out all operator tasks in all applicable areas of the plant.
  • Provide shift coverage during employee breaks and vacations.
  • Perform CIP's, Master Sanitation items, and titrations to ensure sanitation.
  • Report equipment/production issues to Production Supervisor and communicate variances.
  • Take all area samples for micro and analytical results in a timely manner.
  • Maintain working knowledge of production and CIP circuit flows.
  • Complete pre-operational log before production run.
  • Operate cheese/whey equipment and CIP systems proficiently.
  • Return all sample vials to laboratory after production run.
  • Identify and correct factors outside acceptable operating parameters.
  • Understand interaction between computer and machinery and adjust systems as needed.
  • Clean and set up functions of areas and processes.
  • Complete all documentation accurately and timely.
  • Identify information by categorizing, estimating or recognizing changes or deviations.
  • Safely follow start up procedure of equipment.
  • Accurately take and log frequent readings.
  • Regulate factors; adjust for cheese/whey type produced.
  • Operator-level troubleshooting and maintenance as needed.
  • Monitor whey, permeate and lactose flows.

  • Schedule 2-2-3| 5:45 PM - 6:00 AM (Whey) or 5 PM - 5 AM (Cheese)

We are looking for a Resource Operator in Le Sueur, MN.

The Resource Operator carries out all operator tasks in all applicable areas of the plant and provides shift coverage during employee breaks and vacations.

  • Carry out all tasks in a safe and efficient manner.

  • Train other workers on various tasks as needed.

  • Perform all CIP's, Master Sanitation items, and titrations to insure a high standard of sanitation.

  • Immediately report any equipment/production issues to Production Supervisor and communicate any variances in make plans.

  • Take all area samples for micro and analytical results in a timely manner.

  • Obtain and maintain working knowledge of production and CIP circuit flows.

  • Complete pre-operational log before production run.

  • Operate all cheese/whey equipment and CIP (Clean in Place) systems proficiently.

  • Return all sample vials to laboratory after production run.

  • Recognize and correct factors outside of acceptable operating parameters.

  • Understand interaction between computer and machinery and adjust systems as needed.

  • Clean and set up functions of areas and processes.

  • Complete all documentation in an accurate and timely manner.

  • Effectively monitor whey, permeate and lactose flows.
