Agropur Cooperative in Le Sueur, MN is seeking a Resource Operator to carry out all operator tasks across the plant, providing shift coverage and upholding safety and sanitation standards.

Being part of the team means committing to an environment where everyone’s impact truly matters.We believe that teamwork—collaborating and sharing perspectives—is essential to achieving the best results.An environment where collaboration is encouraged and valued:Starting rate $30.19Two pay increases within a year, up to $1.00Schedule 2-2-3Whey Side: 5:45am - 6:00pm / 5:45pm - 6:00amCheese Side: 5:00am - 5:00pm / 5:00pm - 5:00amDouble time pay on SundayMedical, Dental, Vision, Life, Short and Long-term Disability Insurance401(k) with up to 7% company contributions3 Weeks PTOPaid holidays and 2 floating holidaysPaid parental leaveAdvancement OpportunitiesHealthy work/life balanceHow you will contribute to collective success:We are looking for a Resource Operator in Le Sueur, MN.The Resource Operator carries out all operator tasks in all applicable areas of the plant and provides shift coverage during employee breaks and vacations.Carry out all tasks in a safe and efficient manner.Train other workers on various tasks as needed.Perform all CIP's, Master Sanitation items, and titrations to insure a high standard of sanitation.Immediately report any equipment/production issues to Production Supervisor and communicate any variances in make plans.Take all area samples for micro and analytical results in a timely manner.Obtain and maintain working knowledge of production and CIP circuit flows.Complete pre-operational log before production run.Operate all cheese/whey equipment and CIP (Clean in Place) systems proficiently.Return all sample vials to laboratory after production run.Recognize and correct factors outside of acceptable operating parameters.Understand interaction between computer and machinery and adjust systems as needed.Clean and set up functions of areas and processes.Complete all documentation in an accurate and timely manner.Identify information by categorizing, estimating and/or recognizing changes or deviations in circumstances and or/events.Safely and effectively follow start up procedure of equipment.Accurately take and log frequent readings.Regulate factors; making adjustments depending on type of cheese/whey being produced.Perform Operator-level troubleshooting and maintenance of machinery as needed.Effectively monitor whey, permeate and lactose flows.The type of team player who fits in:High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.Minimum two (2) years of experience in food plant manufacturing preferred.Manufacturing experience.Good mechanical aptitude required.Strong leader skills.A role for those who know that the best results are built through teamwork.This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.Agropur welcomes people from all backgrounds and origins.
