What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop targeted funding strategies for EMOPS, focusing on priority workstreams
- Map donor interests and create a database of potential funding opportunities
- Design adaptable business case templates for multiple donor engagements
- Produce high-quality business cases and proposals for donor funding
- Provide strategic recommendations for the EMOPS funding strategy for 2026-2029
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Advanced university degree in risk financing, international development, social sciences, disaster management, or related field; or a first-level degree with two years of additional qualifying experience
- Minimum of seven years of experience in resource mobilization and donor relationships
- Proven experience in developing donor proposals and facilitating multi-stakeholder processes
- Fluency in English is required
- Experience working with UNICEF or similar organizations is preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in working with UNICEF’s fundraising divisions (PG, PPD, PFP)
- Strong alignment with UNICEF's core values and competencies
- Previous involvement in international development or humanitarian response initiatives
