What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Develop targeted funding strategies for EMOPS, focusing on priority workstreams
  • Map donor interests and create a database of potential funding opportunities
  • Design adaptable business case templates for multiple donor engagements
  • Produce high-quality business cases and proposals for donor funding
  • Provide strategic recommendations for the EMOPS funding strategy for 2026-2029
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Advanced university degree in risk financing, international development, social sciences, disaster management, or related field; or a first-level degree with two years of additional qualifying experience
  • Minimum of seven years of experience in resource mobilization and donor relationships
  • Proven experience in developing donor proposals and facilitating multi-stakeholder processes
  • Fluency in English is required
  • Experience working with UNICEF or similar organizations is preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Experience in working with UNICEF’s fundraising divisions (PG, PPD, PFP)
  • Strong alignment with UNICEF's core values and competencies
  • Previous involvement in international development or humanitarian response initiatives
