Current permanent Federal employees (to include permanent Army employees) applying for a Temporary appointment will be appointed/converted into a Temporary appointment with no statutory return rights back to a permanent position.

One year of specialized experience which includes documenting distribution of all funds, maintain audit trails, monitor and control of the fiscal resources of an Army organization; audit of appropriated funds and allocation of funds to activities; consolidating and compiling annual budget of direct and reimbursable funds involving separate appropriations; providing solutions to cost control problems to leadership; reviewing and analyzing budget requests for conformance with guidance. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
