Responsibilities of a Resource Teacher include:

  • Establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment
  • Supporting each child’s social and emotional development
  • Establishing positive and effective family relations
  • Collaborating with classroom teachers and the entire faculty

Qualifications:

  • Shows empathy and compassion for young children
  • Dependable, adaptable, and team-oriented
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., including handling children and potential emergency situations. For Infant and Toddler Teachers, ability to properly lift infants into and out of cribs.
