Roles include collaborating with teams to manage student programs, implementing IEPs and behavior plans, and supporting students in regular and special education settings (virtual or in person) in small groups or 1:1. Qualified candidates will have Ed Tech Authorization through the Maine Department of Education and Maine Criminal History Records Check.
Brunswick's Special Education Department seeks resource ed. techs to join our school teams for the 26-27 school year. Students in our programs have a wide variety of academic, functional, and developmental needs that must be addressed in ways that foster student development and growth. Successful candidates will be able to closely collaborate with team members to manage students’ programs, demonstrate the creativity and flexibility necessary to support students’ challenging behaviors, support students in the regular and special education settings (virtual or in person) in small groups or 1:1, implement students’ IEPs and behavior plans, and support students’ unique needs as appropriate. Successful candidates will also provide support on Special Education transportation.
