Job summary

Southeast Kansas Area Agency on Aging (SEKAAA) seeks a Resource Development and Community Engagement Specialist to help diversify funding and strengthen outreach in SEKAAA's nine-county service area. The VISTA will research funding opportunities, develop fundraising materials, and create systems to track prospects and contributions.

The role will also develop reusable marketing materials, outreach strategies, and community engagement tools to increase awareness of SEKAAA's programs and services,

Qualifications

Experience with fundraising/grant writing and developing fundraising materials.
Strong writing and editing abilities for marketing and outreach materials.
Experience with community outreach and volunteer engagement is a plus.

Responsibilities

Research funding opportunities and develop fundraising materials and tracking tools.
Create reusable marketing and outreach materials and organize communication resources.
Develop outreach activities and partner engagement systems to raise awareness of SEKAAA programs.
Develop volunteer recruitment resources, onboarding materials, communication tools, and retention strategies.
