Job summary

Pinehurst Resort is seeking a dedicated security professional to maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and staff. The role includes patrolling, operating CCTV and alarm systems, and handling access control across resort properties.

Responsibilities also cover incident investigations, detailed reporting, and responding to guest inquiries while ensuring compliance with safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 1 year previous law enforcement, security, emergency services or military experience required or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Background in hospitality or customer service environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle and maintain safe operation with a valid license and annual MVR checks.
• Identify, fix or report unsafe conditions or equipment.
• Respond to incidents and conduct investigations with thorough documentation.
• Write and distribute detailed reports using standard department format.
• Perform thorough patrols of resort properties and monitor CCTV and alarm systems.
• Conduct bag and package checks and control access to property.
• Escort employees, guests, and members to parking areas as requested.
• Inspect safety equipment and learn fire/alarm system operations.
• Maintain logs and logs of assets, vehicles, and inventory.
• Handle lost and found property and respond to guest inquiries.
