Job summary

Highgate Hotels Waikiki Resort seeks a Recreation Attendant to oversee Recreation areas, pool stations and the fitness center, ensuring a welcoming, safe environment for guests.

You will greet guests, assist with reservations and services, keep records, and provide information about facilities. A High School diploma and customer service experience are preferred; flexible long hours and standing during shifts are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
• Ability to stand during the entire shift.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
• Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Highgate Hotel Standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
• Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
