Job summary

Dellshire Resort in Kentucky is seeking a friendly Recreation Attendant to enhance guest enjoyment of pool, recreation, and family entertainment facilities. You will help guests with equipment, monitor safety, and support events while maintaining a clean, welcoming environment.

The role suits energetic individuals with a passion for hospitality and guest service, able to work indoors, outdoors, or near water, and willing to be part of a pre-opening team. Competitive benefits available.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or guest services preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic English communication skills required.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a guest-focused environment.
• Dependable, energetic, and comfortable working indoors, outdoors or around water.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage with guests; provide information on recreation programs, activities, and amenities.
• Assist guests with equipment, towels, and recreational supplies.
• Monitor pool and recreation areas to ensure safety, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.
• Set up and tear down activity areas, games, and events.
• Oversee use of recreation equipment; ensure cleanliness, functionality, and proper storage after use.
• Maintain inventory of recreation supplies and replenish as needed.
• Clean recreation facilities, remove trash and soiled linens, and follow safety protocols.
• Promote resort activities and encourage guest participation.
• Communicate guest concerns or maintenance issues to supervisors promptly.
• Assist with concessions as needed.
• Complete other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.
