Job summary

Carneros Resort and Spa seeks a Construction Engineer to support and execute guest-facing and back-of-house projects, repairs, installations, and operational improvements across the property.

The role blends independent work with collaboration across departments, requiring initiative, problem-solving, and meticulous attention to detail to maintain luxury standards, safety, and exceptional guest experiences throughout all seasons.

Qualifications

• General maintenance knowledge and repair techniques.
• Hands-on experience with minor renovations, installations, and repairs preferred.
• Ability to follow work orders, safety guidelines, and project plans.

Responsibilities

• Support and execute projects across the resort, including guest-facing areas and back-of-house spaces.
• Assist with installations, upgrades, renovations, and improvements.
• Perform carpentry, painting, repairs, equipment installation, and fixtures replacement.
• Complete projects within timelines while maintaining quality.
• Coordinate with departments to plan timelines, materials, and sequencing.
• Communicate updates and issues to leadership.
