Job summary

Saddleback Gear Company is seeking Resort Support Staff for the 2026/2027 ski season in Rangeley, ME. This full-time seasonal role includes duties across parking lots, snow removal, lodge operations, and condominium areas, with a focus on guest assistance and safety.

Interviews begin mid-summer with a tentative start in early December. The job requires physical activity, outdoor work in all conditions, and the ability to manage guest requests and parking logistics efficiently.

Qualifications

• Organizational and detail-orientated skills.
• Great attitude and ability to communicate with guests when necessary.
• Understand, follow safety procedures, and dispose of hazardous waste properly.
• Safely use cleaning equipment and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Remove snow and sand walkways and entrances of the base lodge area.
• Clean and maintain lodge areas, public area bathrooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Empty and clean all waste receptacles and transport waste to dumpsters.
• Vacuum, sweep, and scrub floors as necessary.
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety issues immediately to the supervisor.
• Ensure cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked.
• Wash windows.
• Assist guests with parking and maintaining order in the parking areas.
• Direct guests to the appropriate parking locations in a safe and efficient manner.
• Assist guests by answering questions, helping load/unload gear, and find their car if necessary.
• Mark off parking lots when they are full.
• Assist with snow and trash removal as necessary.
