Job summary

Aimbridge Corporate - Assistant Director of Sales OEM- Resort Division is a full-time role overseeing sales and marketing operations for a full-service hotel, in partnership with the Director of Sales/Director of Sales & Marketing. You will drive occupancy and ADR growth, supervise Sales Managers, manage sales admin, training, and budgets, and support revenue initiatives.

• Minimum 4 years of progressive hotel sales experience; or a 4-year degree and 1 year related experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license for the applicable state.
• Strong verbal and written communication to negotiate, convince, sell and influence.
• Must have professional selling skills: opening, probing, supporting, closing.
• Shows strong analytical skills and strategic vision for sales deployment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
• Must work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong organization and presentation skills.
• Ability to interact with diverse teams and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all group, transient, and catering sales solicitations and bookings to maximize revenue.
• Develop and manage the division's annual budget and marketing plans.
• Book group/banquet business with onsite and remote managers.
• Accountable for all sales activities across Group, Banquets, and Catering.
• Proactively conduct outside sales calls, tours, and client entertainment.
• Understand and negotiate contract terms.
• Develop market awareness to predict revenue opportunities.
• Monitor top accounts and analyze market trends.
• Train staff to recognize and capitalize on sales opportunities.
• Assist with HR duties: hire, train, coach, review, and discipline.
• Supervise Catering & Event Management to meet budgets.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel operations across Sales, F&B, Front Office, Reservations.
