Job summary

Capital Vacations in Branson, MO is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician 2 to join our resort team. You will repair and maintain equipment and systems, perform inspections, troubleshoot issues, and carry out repairs to ensure safety and efficiency.

Key duties include supervising maintenance staff, scheduling preventive maintenance, coordinating electrical, plumbing, HVAC and other systems, and completing work orders.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
• Good driving record clear of significant violations.
• Degree from a vocational school or BSc/BA in Facility Management is preferred.
• Experience in supervisory-level resort maintenance.
• 1–2 years of building and facilities maintenance experience.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO).
• Hazardous material handling training within six months of hire date.
• Experience with maintenance of large, commercial pools and related facilities.
• Ability to multi-task and spot safety risks; knowledge of OSHA guidelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for safe and efficient maintenance of the resort through supervision of maintenance staff.
• Assist in solving complex maintenance problems and implementing maintenance plans within budget.
• Supervise maintenance staff; train and mentor development; ensure quality of work.
• Schedule and perform routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Complete work orders and daily projects reported by front desk or assigned during shift.
• Coordinate or install, inspect, repair and maintain electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems.
• Coordinate or install, operate and maintain heating, cooling and ventilation systems.
• Maintain swimming pool and related facilities.
