Job summary

Azul Hospitality is seeking a Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain hotel facilities, including guest rooms, kitchens, and common areas. The role requires hands-on work with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and building systems, plus preventative maintenance and safety adherence.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of general building trades experience, a high school diploma, and strong communication skills. The role emphasizes safety, immediate response to alarms, and cross-training as needed.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent education is required.
• English fluency required.
• Experience: 3–5 years in general building trades, with commercial maintenance background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform painting, plumbing, electrical, and other routine maintenance tasks using hand tools.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on guest rooms, HVAC, and equipment.
• Repair and service ice machines, appliances, and kitchen equipment.
• Monitor and address energy conservation and safety hazards.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies and report findings to Front Desk.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas; follow lockout/tagout protocols.
