Job summary

Path Resorts in New Hampshire is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Tech / Security to keep guest areas safe, clean, and well-maintained across resort buildings, guest rooms, pools, and grounds.

You’ll perform routine repairs, secure vacant rooms, patrol property, and respond to guest needs. The role combines maintenance duties with security coverage, supports resort operations, and offers generous benefits, on-resort perks, and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of maintenance, facilities, or related experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
• Knowledge of equipment operation and general maintenance practices.
• General facilities maintenance and coordination skills.
• Strong observation and surveillance skills.
• Knowledge of workplace and facility safety practices.
• Ability to safely lift, move, and handle items and equipment weighing up to 100 lbs.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and complete assignments thoroughly.
• Valid driver's license and good driving history.
• Ability to listen to, understand, and follow directions.
• Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to clearly communicate information to guests, coworkers, and management.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Flexibility to work weekends and other shifts as needed based on resort operations.

Responsibilities

• Close and secure designated resort buildings and common areas at the end of the business day.
• Remove trash and linen from common areas by the end of each shift.
• Patrol resort buildings and grounds and assist in ensuring guests follow resort rules and policies.
• Secure vacant and checked-out guest rooms as required.
• Clean and maintain resort pools and pool areas.
• Maintain accessibility, safety, cleanliness, and appearance of resort buildings and grounds.
• Perform painting, groundskeeping, general maintenance, and routine repair work.
• Complete special requests, including transporting materials, moving furniture, setting up furnishings, preparing rooms for occupancy, completing repairs, and installing replacement parts.
• Identify maintenance or safety concerns and report or correct them as appropriate.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following established procedures, rules, regulations, and safety practices.
• Maintain and expand job knowledge by participating in training opportunities and reviewing technical materials as needed.
• Provide courteous and professional assistance to guests, coworkers, and other departments.
• Perform other maintenance-related duties and special projects as assigned based on resort needs.
