Job summary

Disney Cruise Line - The Walt Disney Company in California seeks a Maintenance Engineer to keep hotel systems running smoothly, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry. Shifts are typically night hours with cross-coverage across 1st–3rd shifts and holidays.

Responsibilities span boilers, chillers, wiring, painting, wallpaper, and mechanical equipment maintenance. Candidates should have 5+ years in resort maintenance and EPA 608 certification.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of hotel or resort maintenance experience.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
  • EPA 608 Universal Certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain boilers, chillers, compressors, refrigeration, generators, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems across hotel facilities.
  • Paint and wallpaper preparation and application to resort standards.
  • Inspect and repair plumbing fixtures; respond to maintenance requests promptly.
  • Follow CMMS workflows and safety procedures.
