Job summary

Hilton Phoenix Resort at the Peak is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our team on an on-site basis. The role emphasizes electrical upkeep across guest areas, kitchens, and public spaces, with AM shifts including weekends and holidays.

You will respond to guest issues with proactive communication and maintain high safety standards. Responsibilities include wiring, diagnostics, and repair work, as well as supporting energy conservation and training other staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Must communicate in English.
• Self-starting with an even disposition.
• Professional appearance and manner.
• Team player and able to assist coworkers.
• Able to climb, stand, walk and lift 25–50 lbs.
• Willing to train others and share knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
• Diagnose malfunctions with test equipment and fix problems.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers or other components.
• Inspect electrical systems for hazards and code compliance.
• Plan layout and install wiring per blueprints and codes.
• Repair or replace wiring and fixtures using hand/power tools.
• Respond to room calls and address guest issues quickly.
• Monitor Fire/Life Safety systems and energy usage.
