The Hilton Phoenix Resort at the Peak, a Crescent Hotels & Resorts property, seeks a full-time Maintenance Engineer to maintain electrical systems hotel-wide. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical wiring and equipment, coordinate with teams, and ensure guest comfort and safety.

Excellent communication, teamwork, and the ability to lift heavy objects are essential. The role emphasizes proactive service, safety, and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced resort environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems and locate causes of breakdowns.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers and components.
• Inspect electrical systems to identify hazards and ensure safety codes.
• Test systems and continuity with testing devices to ensure safety.
• Plan layout and installation based on blueprints and codes.
• Prepare sketches or follow blueprints for wiring locations.
• Use power tools and testing equipment for maintenance.
• Repair or replace wiring, equipment and fixtures.
• Work from ladders and roofs to install or repair electrical systems.
• Place conduit and pull insulated wires between boxes.
• Construct parts with hand tools; fasten boxes to walls.
• Perform physically demanding tasks and lift heavy objects.
• Provide sketches and cost estimates for materials.
• Keep equipment in good repair and minimize downtime.
• Support and improve engineering services addressing guest needs.
• Train and instruct other team members as needed.
• Respond to room calls and perform repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC and electrical issues; monitor fire safety systems.
• Observe energy usage and seek conservation opportunities.
• Maintain tools and secure storage; ensure safe work environment.
• Act in engineering capacity during emergencies to restore operations.
