Job summary

Suncadia Resort is seeking a Lifeguard to ensure guest safety at the pool and water slide facilities. You will enforce rules, respond to emergencies, and assist with daily pool operations to maintain a clean, safe environment for guests and team members.

The role requires alertness, flexibility to work a varied schedule, and strong communication skills to engage with guests and colleagues. Compensation includes benefits and team events at the resort.

Qualifications

• Current American Red Cross or Ellis Lifeguard Certification, or ability to obtain via company-provided training.
• CPR & First Aid Certification, or ability to obtain via company-provided training.
• Ability to work a varied schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Proven ability to interact with the public in a friendly, professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Maintain order and enforce pool rules across pools, slides, and sauna areas.
• Be alert and focused while on duty at pools.
• Rescue swimmers in danger and administer first aid.
• Clean pools and saunas; perform daily maintenance checks.
• Open/close or mid-shift checklists to ensure smooth operations.
