Job summary

Suncadia Resort, LLC in Cle Elum, WA seeks a dedicated Lifeguard to ensure guest safety at pools and water slides. The role emphasizes teamwork, service excellence, and adherence to safety procedures across resort facilities.

Full-time, year-round position with 30 hours/week and benefits. Certification in lifeguarding and CPR/First Aid required or provided by the company training program.

Qualifications

• Current American Red Cross or Ellis Lifeguard Certification or ability to obtain via company training.
• Current CPR & First Aid certification or ability to obtain via company training.
• Ability to work varied evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain order and enforce pool rules across all pool areas.
• Stay alert and focused while on duty at pools and slides.
• Rescue swimmers in danger and administer first aid.
• Clean pool and sauna and vacuum daily.
• Perform opening/closing or mid-shift checklists for pool operations.
• Assist with general pool, facility and locker room cleanliness.
• Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance needs.
• Follow public health and safety policies and emergency action plans.
• Ensure member and guest safety through ongoing training.
• Greet members with a smile and friendly address.
