Job Description: Resort Lifeguard at Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort, Spa and Marina

Summary: This seasonal position will end September 2025. We are seeking a vigilant Resort Lifeguard to ensure guest safety at our pool facilities. The role supports the Recreation Department, requiring excellent customer service skills, the ability to provide hotel information, and assist with recreation rental equipment.

What You'll Do:

1. Explain and enforce rules, regulations, and policies to ensure guest safety.
2. Monitor designated areas to recognize signs of danger and respond to emergencies.
3. Warn swimmers about unsafe situations or hazards.
4. Maintain order in swimming areas and cleanliness of all related areas.
5. Assist with kid-focused activities or special events at the pool.

Note: Responsibilities may evolve, and additional duties or qualifications may be required.

Qualifications:

• CPR/Lifeguard Certified or ability to obtain certification upon hire (age 15+).
• Ability to work outdoors and handle moderate physical activity.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
