Job summary

TradeWinds Resort on the Gulf Coast in Saint Pete Beach is seeking a dependable Laundry Attendant to process, organize, and distribute linens across Island Grand and RumFish properties. The role supports a high-volume operation and requires flexibility for weekends and holidays.

You will operate commercial laundry equipment, maintain production standards, and ensure a clean, safe work environment while working closely with the laundry team to meet daily goals.

Qualifications

• Experience operating industrial laundry equipment preferred.
• Valid Driver License preferred.
• Previous resort, hotel, or industrial laundry experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage assigned responsibilities efficiently.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work extended hours when required based on business needs.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Ability to meet or exceed established production quotas.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial laundry equipment and use laundry supplies according to established procedures.
• Distribute clean linens to designated areas throughout both resort properties.
• Retrieve soiled linens from designated areas and transport them to the laundry facility.
• Process, sort, and handle clean and soiled linens efficiently and safely.
• Maintain established laundry production standards for quality, productivity, and performance.
• Safely operate and maneuver wheeled laundry carts throughout the resort.
• Lift, carry, and transfer linen loads as required.
• Maintain an efficient workflow and complete assigned duties independently with minimal supervision.
• Keep laundry areas, carts, and workspaces clean and organized.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, equipment, and resort procedures.
• Maintain regular attendance and flexibility based on the operational needs of the resort.
• Work cooperatively with supervisors and other laundry team members to meet departmental goals.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the proper uniform and nametag.
• Comply with all Highgate standards, policies, and procedures to support safe and efficient resort operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
