Vacation Village at Parkway in Kissimmee, FL is hiring a Laundry Attendant to support housekeeping by washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens. You’ll operate commercial laundry equipment, keep the laundry area clean, and help prepare towels for service.

The role requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a busy resort environment. Weekend/holiday availability is a plus; compensation is hourly at $15.50 with opportunities to grow within the team.

Responsibilities

• Process high volumes of laundry—washing, drying, folding, and distributing resort linens.
• Keep laundry equipment clean and functioning, including emptying lint traps twice daily.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laundry room, hallways, and employee areas.
• Operate commercial washers, dryers, and ironing equipment safely.
• Sort, fold, iron, and inspect linens to ensure top-quality standards.
• Prepare linens for housekeeping carts, closets, and pool towel service.
• Assist with pool area towel needs and help keep pool and deck furniture tidy.
• Deep clean lobby restrooms, pool restrooms, and disinfect the gym when assigned.
• Stock and organize housekeeping supplies for the next day’s operations.
• Maintain the employee break room, including prepping coffee and cleaning common areas.
• Sweep, mop, and keep work areas spotless throughout the day.
• Respond to guest or MOD requests, including disinfecting tasks.
• Perform additional cleaning duties as needed to support the team.
