Job summary

Hotel Valley Ho, part of Pyramid Global Hospitality, is seeking a Landscaper to maintain resort grounds in Scottsdale. You’ll perform routine landscaping tasks, support irrigation and equipment maintenance, and help ensure an exceptional guest experience while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of common landscape practices.
• Previous landscaping experience in a resort setting is a plus.
• Ability to lift 90 lbs, work in heat/cold, and endure inclement weather.
• Ability to kneel and bend for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered equipment to mow turf areas.
• Water and fertilize turf areas and planting beds.
• Grade and prepare soil, lay sod, and plant vegetative material.
• Assist in turf cultivation and related maintenance.
• Perform routine maintenance and renovations.
• Carry out labor tasks: string trimming, edging, pruning, top-dressing, divot repair, drainage.
• Support irrigation maintenance: head trimming, valve trimming, PVC repairs, head leveling, and minor electrical tasks.
• Operate mechanical loaders to move soil, debris, and materials.
• Assist mechanics with lubrication and minor repairs to equipment.
• Support special projects and cross-department initiatives.
• Report abnormalities such as damage, disease, pests, or debris.
• Assist other departments as opportunities arise and help housekeeping in Maintenance.
