Job summary

Island Hospitality Management in Granby, Colorado, is seeking a Resort Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily operations of the resort housekeeping team. You will ensure rental units, bath houses, offices, and meeting spaces are clean and well maintained, with a focus on guest satisfaction.

This role requires coordinating staff, monitoring performance, managing supplies and budgets, and upholding safety procedures.

Qualifications

  • 1 year of housekeeping/cleaning experience, preferably in hospitality.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of general janitorial work.
  • Knowledge of safety measures when using cleaning chemicals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate team member selection and development and ensure policy adherence.
  • Inspect and approve the team’s work performance.
  • Place orders for cleaning materials and manage budget implications.
  • Obtain pricing and place orders to stock supplies for rentals.
  • Ensure all operations and safety procedures are followed.
  • Respond to guests' inquiries and complaints regarding resort housekeeping promptly.

Description

As our Resort Housekeeping Supervisor, you will oversee and manage the daily operations and performance of the Resort Housekeepers. You will ensure rental units, bath houses, offices, and meeting areas are clean and properly maintained.

This position may require flexible scheduling availability.

Job Requirements
  • Coordinate team member selection and development and ensures team members comply with appropriate policies and procedures
  • Inspect and approve the team’s work performance
  • Place orders for cleaning materials as needed; maintain and ensure to stay within budget guidelines
  • Obtain pricing and place orders to ensure supply for rentals is adequately stocked
  • Ensure all operations and safety procedures are properly followed
  • Respond to guests' inquiries and complaints regarding resort housekeeping in a timely and professional manner
Job Qualifications
  • 1-year prior housekeeping/cleaning experience, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Demonstrated knowledge of general janitorial work
  • Knowledge of safety measures when using various cleaning chemicals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email, the internet, and Microsoft Office

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The number of hours you will be scheduled to work during the week is variable and is based on guest occupancy, season, staffing and other factors. IHM Outdoors is unable to guarantee a specific number of work hours per week.
