Job summary

Sun Outdoors is seeking Resort Housekeepers to clean and sanitize resort facilities and rental properties to maintain a sanitary and presentable environment. Duties include cleaning appliances, bathrooms, floors, windows, and common areas, while following safety procedures and reporting hazards.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and at least 6 months of cleaning experience; basic computer skills and a valid driver's license are also expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 6 months of cleaning experience in homes or large facilities preferred.
• Knowledge of safety measures when using cleaning chemicals.
• Able to lift at least 25 pounds.
• Basic computer skills including email and internet.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, sanitizes, and stocks areas as needed.
• Cleans appliances and defrosts freezer when required.
• Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms, ensures good lighting and safe mats.
• Follows safety procedures and reports hazards or defective equipment.
• Maintains overall appearance of resort facilities.
• Sweeps, vacuums, mops, waxes, and buff floors as needed.
• Cleans windows and screens; ensures they function properly.
• Maintains washers and dryers; wipes surfaces; removes lint.
• Keeps offices and buildings clean; empties trash as needed.
• Cleans vents and replaces filters as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
