Job summary

The Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, FL is hiring full-time housekeepers to maintain high cleanliness standards in guest rooms and public areas, including bed making, floors, dusting, and replenishing amenities.

This in-person role requires physical stamina, ability to stand for long periods, and adherence to PPE and safety guidelines. Shifts may include nights, weekends and holidays. The pay rate is $24.00 per hour with select benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• One year of Resort Housekeeping experience.
• Speak and read English to communicate with Guests.
• Prolonged standing and walking to multiple areas of the resort to access and clean rooms, including stairs.
• Full-Time requires full availability for any time-of-day, any day, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Part-Time requires three days of full availability for any time-of-day, any day, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned rooms within shift time requirements, passing inspection.
• Clean and sanitize Guest rooms including bathrooms and surfaces.
• Maintain cleanliness of employee areas and housekeeping carts and tools.
• Replenish Guest amenities such as soaps, towels, and coffee.
• Use a smartphone to access Guest room assignments and submit work orders.
• Report unusual room conditions or rooms needing repair.
• Handle guest concerns per service standards and advise leader.
