Mauna Kea Resort is seeking a Housekeeping Attendant (Band 1U) to clean public areas, restrooms, offices, and corridors to resort standards on site in Hawaii. The role includes stocking carts, assisting room attendants, delivering items to guest rooms, and moving heavy furniture as needed.

Frontline duties involve trash removal, carpet and floor cleaning, and reporting safety concerns. Shift work and adherence to safety procedures are expected to ensure high hotel standards.

• Clean public areas, restrooms, offices, and corridors according to resort standards.
• Pick-up soiled linen from room attendants and stock carts/closets with supplies and linen.
• Perform specialized cleaning and other unskilled tasks as directed.
• Move heavy furniture or equipment when needed.

• Clean public areas, restrooms, offices, corridors, restaurants, etc., according to resort standards.
• Pick-up soiled linen and trash from room attendant's carts.
• Clean, organize and stock carts or housekeeping closets with supplies and linen, reports shortages.
• Perform specialized floor or carpet cleaning following directions on cleaning solutions.
• Deliver items requested by guests.
• Move furniture, beds or equipment as instructed.
• Sweep, dust, mop and remove debris from floors.
• Assist room attendant in servicing and cleaning rooms, delivering ice and water.
• Report any unauthorized or suspicious person on the guest room floors to security.
• Responsible for the control of hotel issued keys at all times.
• Assist in special projects.
• Complete work assignments in a timely manner.
• Perform duties following safety procedures and standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or required.
