Job summary

Ski Utah is seeking a Full-Time Base Area Operations team member to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and guest-ready facilities at our world-class resort. You will maintain public and employee areas, operate cleaning equipment, and greet guests with a cheerful, service-focused attitude.

This role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and the willingness to work a 10-hour shift across resort facilities, including walking and riding lifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Understanding cleaning methods for all surfaces on the resort.
• Ability to read and comprehend all communications, warnings and instructions.
• Ability to work a 10 hour shift.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
• Comfort with powered cleaning equipment (vacuums, carpet extractors, window cleaners, aerial work platforms).
• Ability to access all areas by walking, riding lifts or stairs.
• Knowledge of handling and application of various cleaning chemicals.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Physical ability to climb, kneel, reach and twist.
• Ability to read and follow the Employee Handbook, all performance and appearance standards and any state or federal laws concerning the housekeeping department.

Responsibilities

• Uphold the high standard of cleanliness and sanitation fitting of our world-class resort facilities.
• Maintain cleaning equipment in good operational order.
• Maintain cleanliness in public areas as well as common employee areas.
• Report any questionable, unsafe or harmful conditions to Building Maintenance and other affected departments.
• Greet guests and uphold an energetic guest-service attitude.
• Function as an active team member within the housekeeping department as well as other work areas.
